| Firefighter Morse was awarded the Lifesaving Medal and the Medal Of Heroism for his actions when he investigated what appeared to be a large amount of smoke in the Town of Waterbury. He found a heavily involved structure fire, and reported it. Stanley found the elderly female occupant collapsed inside the door and removed her to the other side of his vehicle. In the process Stanley received some burns. | ||
